The party makes their way to the Citadel to meet with Cressida Kroft, in the hopes that her clerics have determined what the strange chest was.  Unfortunately, nothing more was gleaned, but Cressida does have a few things she wants the party to look at:

Ishani (the cleric of Abadar the party is friendly with), wants the party to investigate the claims of a woman named Vendra who is selling a cure for blood veil.
A wererat named Eries Yelloweyes, worried that Korvosa might soon blame her kind for the plague, seeks out the PCs for help.

Wealday, Sarenith 26, 4708

With the party reassembled at the Three Rings Tavern, the party wakes up, much as the have these past few weeks, with very little planned for the day, only to find a letter ‘stapled’ to the wall with a dagger that reads as follows:

To my friends Harsk, Odessa, Sagann, Tindes & Yoola,

By the time you receive this letter, my ship will have already set sail from the Korvosan Harbor.

After a much waiting, contacts of mine at Eel’s End have brought to my attention that they have located some relatives of mine that I never even knew I had.

Wealday, Sarenith 4, 4708 – Toilday, Sarenith 25, 4708

Sagann is pretty pissed at what happened at the attempted execution of Trinia. Royally pissed. Not quite enraged but he’s always on that edge, which is generally beneficial unless that rage happens to be directed at someone in the party… Odessa made a decision on behalf of the party to attempt to intervene in the execution, forcing them to do something Sagann considered stupid, regardless of the reasons why, and irrespective of whether or not it all worked out ok in the end, the big guy is royally annoyed. And he does kill things for a living…
